This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Havent done a journal before yet, so sorry if its not the best. But here ill attempt to cover most of the stuff for the game idea, and so on.
Team name: Blaque Heaven/s
Project name: End is Lost (Subject to change)
Brief description: End is Lost is a title planned to be in the fantasy genre. It is set in the real world hundreds of thousands of years in the future after the second rise of magic (and the fall of technology). With which came the Books of Region, books of prophecies fortelling the future in riddles. The cities have been long abandoned and man has taken refuge in the country sides and small towns. Modern animals have evolved to adapt to this new magical world. Along with the rise of magic, technology (robots) became something like a race, able to think and act them selves, along with animalistc tech that roams the land.
The game/story follows a teen in this world on his journey to adult hood. He is sent on his right of passage through the country to complete varias tasks, ending in his reading of the Book of Region. It turns out that the ending pages are missing, and according to legend, time will seize to advance when that time comes to pass if the pages are not returned.
so far, that is the basics of it. The story hasent undergone refineing but the the main things are there.
Genre: Either a platformer or a hack n' slash RPG with an in depth story
Art Style: Mostly depnds on what I and the artist decide is the best for this title. I believe choosing before discussing can be horribly for a design.
Target aim: At the moment, it is undecided. Depending on the quality of the overall work it could vary from being a free game to a retail.
Compensation: This also depends on were the game ends up. If the game is retail, or makes any form of profit, the compensation will be a split revenue.
Technology: Once again, undecided untill decided goal of the project.
Talent needed: For now, only a writer and artist/s are needed.
Team structure: Currently, for this project, it is only me. Shelby - Team leader, project manager/designer
Contacts: PM, or email me at Endislost@hotmail.com
Gro'Sluk - a member of the tech race that helps the protagonist in finding certain information. (been friends since Aiyen was little)
Tibber - Aiyens pet (happens to be a tech animal)
Grimweld Tesslor - Tribe leader
Orian Dimebro - Necromancer/Technomancer(ill explain if you like)
Crishemboe Trophe - Orian's apprentice
Etc: The names are all subject to change, but the charcter in general is still there. I have enough to keep whomever busy untill the story is fully complete, and more after the story is done.
Some of the characters that would need to be drawn are genarics of other tribes, and so on.
Do you have any descriptions for them at all or is it all up to the artist? I mean if the latter is the case, it would be good to have at least an idea of how they would dress or what style of clothing the setting allows. I mean do they look about modern, or medieval, or Final fantasy like, or tribal maybe? or maybe a dark fantasy feel, or a post apocalyptic rags and salvaged technology look (think Reign of Fire), or maybe very sci-fi?
It is, for the most part, up to the artist. But the setting can allow for multiple things. The tech race may or may not ware clothes. But the humans are sort of a mixture. The look is planned to be sort of a modern tribal hybrid with dashes of apocalyptic rags and salvage.
Here, I ended up recruiting an artist for the main character, so no worries on him. Heres what hes come up with so far:
Though most others, like the tech race, other tribes that the main character arent in, and the technomancer will be more weighty on the salvaged tech looks than the tribal.
Hope that helped. If not, I can post some references.
